Cancer is a disease that affects millions of people around the world every year.

It is a terrible illness that can take away our loved ones from us, and it can be a difficult journey for the patient and their family. In April 2020, Kennah Orr Gervais, a 27-year-old mother, daughter, sister, wife, and friend, was diagnosed with cervical cancer for the second time. She has undergone multiple surgeries, rounds of chemotherapy, and radiation treatments. However, this time, she needs invasive, life-changing surgery to get rid of the cancer.

If you know Kennah, you know she’s a fighter. Despite the hardships, she has a BS mentality and continues to fight for her life. Before the diagnosis, she was an FIU softball graduate and an assistant softball coach at Webber International for three seasons. Kennah’s passion for softball and coaching is an integral part of who she is, and we are all committed to getting her back on the beach and coaching the ladies because that’s what she was born to do!

Unfortunately, the surgery Kennah has to undergo is extremely rare, and she will most likely travel to New York for surgery and recuperation for an unknown timeframe. Her family is planning to cover her living expenses there, airfare for her and her daughter Kylar’s trip, groceries, medical expenses, and day-to-day expenses when she returns home. We are all coming together to create a donation account to help cover the costs Kennah incurs as she advances her care plan and beats cervical cancer for the second time. Any amount donated is a blessing to Kennah, and we encourage you to share her story and the donation link so we can let as many people as possible know.
